Questions you may have

Is Stargazer free?

All core memory features are free: creating a planet, uploading photos, videos, and voice notes, lighting candles, and inviting family. We will not sell to you while you are grieving. Optional physical keepsakes may come later, but the core memory features remain free.

I worry about privacy. Can others see my content?

Their planet is public by default so people who also remember them can find it in Lights and leave a candle. If you do not want that, you can switch to “Close ones only” or “Private” in settings, and it takes effect immediately. AI organization happens on your device; your photos and voices are not uploaded for that.

Will Stargazer use AI to recreate them?

No. AI helps organize memories you already have, such as finding their photos in your album and arranging a timeline. We do not synthesize their voice, simulate a chat with them, or generate words they never said.

If I stop using it, can I take my memories with me?

Yes. You can export everything as a zip. We will not trap you or make leaving hard. We do not rely on switching costs; the product should be worth returning to on its own.

When will it launch?

iOS private beta starts with 30 people, then a 100-person soft launch, then general availability. Android will follow. Leave your email and we will tell you first.
